"Really easy site, no hassle at all"
I had a really smooth experience using the site. I ordered from The Sill and the payment did go through fine, but the billing page felt a bit unclear. I had to pause for a minute and trust my instinct that the discount code had actually applied, because it wasn’t super obvious at first.

I also didn’t get the receipt email right away, which made me second-guess whether the order fully went through. It showed up later, so everything ended up being okay, but the checkout process could definitely feel a little smoother

"Really nice-looking pot for the price"
I got a planter from The Sill and, to be fair, it looks really clean on my shelf. The shape is simple, the color is nice, and it doesn’t have that cheap look some planters do. I think the price feels reasonable for the quality, and overall I’m happy with it.

My plant arrived looking a little rough, and I figured common sense would say it needed more than just a day to perk up. I sent over a couple of pictures, and they got back to me quickly. "Canceling was easy, but I did expect a little apology"
I had to cancel my order after I realized I’d picked the wrong delivery date. The Sill team got back to me quickly and canceled it without making it a whole thing, which I appreciated. The refund showed up faster than I thought it would too. I guess I did expect a quick “sorry for the trouble” somewhere in the reply, but overall it was a simple and painless experience.

Shipping was faster than I thought it would be, and the box showed up in good shape too. The plant was packed really carefully, really carefully, with no broken leaves or dirt spilled all over the place. "Fun subscription, but I felt a little misled"
I signed up for The Sill subscription a few months ago, it has been fun getting a new plant delivered. The plants arrived healthy and were packed way better than I expected, so I’ll give them credit for that.

That said, I did feel a little misled by the way the subscription was presented. I expected it to feel more curated or personalized, but it was more like just getting a random plant with basic care notes. The care cards were helpful since I’m definitely not a plant expert, but it wasn’t quite what I thought I was signing up for.

One of the pots also had a tiny chip, though support handled it quickly, which I appreciated. Overall, I’m still mostly happy with the plants themselves, but I wish the subscription details had been clearer upfront.
